About
About Me
I am an artist and illustrator, specialising in printmaking. And I run this little print shop. I take inspiration from the natural world, the creatures and people who inhabit it, and the stories they have to tell. I print because I love the process of taking something that inspires, excites, or moves me, and expressing it in my own way through line, tone, shape and colour. I love the process of crafting something by hand and the energy and sense of connection it brings. I come from a family of crafts-people; potters, engineers, print-makers, painters, carpenters, garden designers, and seamstresses. I grew up immersed in a world of making, and the excitement and joy that it brought me as a child never left. I studied fine art throughout school, and was awarded an art scholarship. In 2016 I completed a foundation diploma in Art and Design at Oxford Brooke's University, qualifying with a distinction. In 2019 I graduated with a First-Class Honours in BA Graphic Communications from Bath Spa University.
