To My passion is sharing the soundscapes of hope from the extraordinary rich habitats of Knepp Wilding and other nature reserves, by creating immersive affecting nature soundscape experiences for all that participants find freeing, thrilling, joyous.
As an artist based on the Knepp Estate, you will have found me pounding the Knepp scrubland at dawn over the past five years, microphones in hand, documenting Knepp’s burgeoning biodiversity through tracking the
changing soundscapes as rewilding progresses.
Today I am sharing these soundscapes of hope, from within Knepp’s thorny domes of bramble, hedgerows of former arable fields and woodlands, from the skies above, and even from below its streams and lakes. The track Knepp Dawn drops on streaming sites on 4 May to celebrate this International Dawn Chorus weekend, marking my first collaboration with a composer,
the classical chart topping Damian Montagu.
